Questions

Will it switch on lights and appliances?

No — it will not switch anything on or off, and that is our decision, not an oversight. It reads the state of the house and explains in words what is going on, while the button stays with you and with your system. We give it no control: a mistake here costs more than the convenience.

Does it see what is happening in the house right now?

Yes, if Home Assistant, Yandex Smart home or SmartThings is connected: it reads the device states and event log itself. Without such a connection, it only knows your setup from notes. And in any case, he himself is not the first to write —; silence from him does not mean either “everything is fine at home” or “something happened.”

What does it need from you?

Connecting to your system — Home Assistant, Yandex Smart home or SmartThings — and what is not in it: why the script is made in such a way that you don’t need to touch it, home agreements. It will pull out a list of devices and scenarios on its own; you don’t need to rewrite it manually.

Where does the household write to it?

Where they already are: Telegram, WhatsApp, VK and MAX. Grandma doesn’t need the automation app — she writes to an ordinary chat in ordinary words.

What is the file it sends?

A table — CSV or XLSX — that it builds itself and sends as an attachment right into the chat. That is how inventories of scenes go out, along with device lists and everything that fires on a timer. Easy to print and leave out for guests.

Does it remember what we already went through?

Yes. It brings up your earlier messages and answers with them in mind: what got confusing, what you changed, how it ended. The limit is an honest one — if you changed a setting without saying so, it doesn’t know.

What if we have three systems, not one?

It makes no difference to it: it works from your description, not from your systems. Scenes out of different apps and manual habits like “don’t touch that switch” all live in one answer.

Do I need a separate assistant for the country house and the garage?

This plan includes one assistant, and the descriptions of every property sit with it together — it tells them apart by the names you gave them. If you want them split across separate assistants, the next cloud tier has seats for that.

What has to be done before the first answer?

Connecting a model is the first step in the dashboard, and you do it once. Until a model is connected the assistant stays silent: the thinking happens in the model, not on our server. The model can be a local one, on your own hardware.
